"As a dad, I don't play when it comes to where my kid goes and Recess Northern Liberties is one of the few places I actually trust. Walking in, everything feels clean, safe, and put together. That already put me at ease, but what really matters to me is how my child is treated and the staff here is solid. They're patient, hands-on, and you can tell they actually care about the kids, not just doing a job. I also like that there's a separate space for infants too. "I have been through 3 daycares for my daughter, just trying to finding the right hours with my schedule but also the best care for her. I waited for Recess to open their Infant center and I have loved it here from Day 1. My daughter is growing so fast, loves the teachers. "I took my 5-year-old to one of the arts and crafts events here, and we both absolutely loved it! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about creating a positive experience for kids and parents. We’ve been to the facility twice now and each visit has been fun and exciting. My daughter loves the arts and crafts area with its creative options for free play. The entire space is spotless with high-quality furniture and toys giving it an upscale feel. "We started our 19 month old at Recess’ Northern Liberties location about a month ago and we’re loving it so far! The Enrollment Director was really accommodating and we were able to come up with a schedule that actually makes logistical and financial sense for us. If you’re evaluating daycares in the Fishtown/Northern Liberties area, we highly recommend reaching out to the Director to see if they can meet your needs because it’s our experience that they really live up to their flexible scheduling offer. We found the website a little confusing and it probably needs to be updated, so talking things through really helped us finalize our decision to send our daughter there. The teachers are very caring and supportive. They incorporate feedback into their care routines, keep the space clean, and are educated about child development."

"I have a four year old daughter and needed some childcare options with flexibility during the last week of August since Pre-K started but jot yet full time. Luckily, we had the opportunity to try the drop off services at Recess because her cousin is a member. Let me just say that my daughter keeps asking to go back. She loved the space, activities, attention when she attended. I'm looking forward to Recess having longer hours and offering weekend care. We currently don't need too much additional help regularly since my daughter is in school with aftercare but I am definitely considering signing up for months that I know I'll need additional help due to school holidays or weekend events and trips. It's a great option to have in our neighborhood!"
